Went to a brilliant party just up the road at Conrad's. He has a windmill in the garden which is a great venue for parties. There was a hog roast, jazz band, bar and disco. And cupcakes with iddy biddy little cameras on them. The weather wasn't great but it was a warm evening and everyone managed to eat outside before the rain started and we all headed into the windmill for a bit of a boogie.

Started the day with a thumping head after last night's (Friday, I'm back blipping) curry night. A lot of wine was consumed and the conversation turned to The Accelerants New Years Eve Party. As the venue only holds 180 people, it means each band member is limited to 30 guests, which once you take family members into account, doesn't leave a lot spare. There was a heated 'discussion' about who should be on the 'definites' list, who should be on the 'reserve' list and who should be on the 'over my dead body' list. I predict a few more heated discussion to come!

Hangover nicely cured with a bit of retail therapy in cambridge and a lovely lunch at Stazione where the children were invited into the kitchen to make their own pizzas. The staff were super friendly and the food was great. I think the children enjoyed their lunch all the more for having made it themselves.
