A spot of Lunch

Whilst pottering about the house, my good lady suggested that we should head out for a "bite to eat".

"Great Idea" thinks me so off we meandered down to the village and ended up here at the Hawes Inn, where, as you can read in the link, it was when he was staying here that Robert Louis Stevenson, was inspired to write his novel "Kidnapped!".

Well as far as I could see, there was no kidnapping going on today - just a nice spot of lunch and then a wee wander along into the village and a spot of coffee in The Picnic.

A good afternoon out and an evening to be spent with friends - Great!!
