Autumn Colours

These lovely colours caught my eye on the way to lock the Church this evening. They are over hanging the fence of The Bernard Arms Hotel, now closed and virtually derelict, where heads of government visiting Chequers used to frequent. The current owners have just applied for planning permission for houses on the site which would mean the pub would be demolished. As you can imagine there is much opposition to the application from local folk.

Another visit to the Doctor today, 2 lots of eye drops and some special shower cream to help my skin which is very dry and sensitive due to....yep you guessed it...chemotherapy!

I was taken to Costco this afternoon by a friend.....what a place, I only brought cheese but easy to see how you could get carried away buying things you didn't know you needed until you got there.
