Life, The Universe and Everything
Standing underneath the stars, it's amazing how small you can feel. You're a time traveller, looking at light that once existed aeons ago, and might no longer be there. It's a universe where a neutron star just a dozen kilometres wide can weigh a billion tonnes, a pulsar can spin at 30 times a second, and a black hole can suck everything including lights itself. Its a place full of mystery, potential and untold majesty.
Here I am on Mount John, and whilst the clouds have rolled in extinguishing the starlight, I'm still awestruck, just as I am every time I visit this wonderful place.
