THE party....

Another blip that captures a day focused on D. Cake, lego, starwars... The aftermath of a crazy hour and half of a Star Wars party for 12 mostly 5 yr olds....

We made light sabres, bashed balloons, threw water bombs at targets, rescued Han Solo from his frozen carbonite, hunted asteroids, designed mini figures, decorated and ate biscuits and pop planets and then popped outside again for some more light sabre duelling.

C was a star - he gave up his sweeties when one of the little ones lost theirs and let them have the last water bombs as well as organising them to find the asteroids. Then as D opened parcels, he wrote the list of gifts and givers ready for thank you notes. A top big brother.

D was a star too, just happy to have his friends round and to be centre of attention....even when his mother nearly forgot the cake and candles :-D luckily no one was in a rush and the parents collecting joined in the sing song.

Now ...where is that bottle of prosecco?
