Katie had her first lesson with her teacher today. She said they did a few more letters, but wasnt particularly impressed! I think he was still on with the assessing from the sounds of it. She said that they are doing about pirates now and the door to the upstairs classroom is covered in pirate things. She also said they had another French lesson today and that they did a song in French and the teacher knows LOTS of French. She learnt that "ecouter" means listen!

She had her swimming assessment today. The past few times I have either known from observation whether she's passed or had confirmation from the teacher either way. This time, I think it could be touch & go and I haven't been told! We will find out next week
