Found still life

Had a lovely walk along the coast from Gyllyngvase Beach to Bream Cove and back again - about 7.5 miles in all. Stopped at Maenporth Beach along the way to eat our lunch - sitting on the rocks and looking out at the sea. We then spent quite a long time at Bream Cove when we got there, clambering over the rocks, beachcombing and peering into rock pools again. Perfect holiday activity!

Came back to the cottage for a coffee and a shower, then popped back out after a while to get a few bits from Tesco Express in the town. Spotted Rick Stein's Fish restaurant on the way - may have to try and book a table for later in the week....

Went back out again this evening in the hopes of getting some beachy rocky sunset shots, but the tide was in too far, and the sunset was a tad too subtle - but it was nice to see the sea again anyway. Surprised to see a few people braving the water in the half light. Brrrr!

Came back to the cottage, I cooked us up a pasta dinner, and we had a nice relaxing evening.
