A quiet day...

...due to only four hours sleep, so some Autumnal Hydrangea colour. I played around with all the different settings and modes on the camera, but in the end the bog standard shot won the day...


Update on the Jamgate story: you know how you test to see if egg whites are whisked stiffly enough for meringue by holding the bowl upside down over your head, well you can do the same trick quite safely with yesterday's Blackberry Jam! I have however tracked down a recipe for rescuing over-cooked jam, which involves adding some Port. So it's a win-win situation all round!!
