Little Grey Wagtail

This grey wagtail spent some time beside the pond this morning, his tail and body bobbing up and down constantly. This enabled me to identify him, as we have not seen any in the garden previously. The zoom makes the pond look empty, but in fact it is not, and the water lies only a little way below the paving!
I would have liked the lens to focus on the feather detail more than has happened here, but I took this from inside the house. If I had opened the door, I think he would have flown away!
