Although quite a distance from where we are staying the drive to Vichy was certainly rewarding. Some of the architecture in the grand buildings is quite awe inspiring and there is a wide range of styles . Vichy of course is famed as a spa town and it is still possible to take the waters as part of a health programme. At the source the of Celestin spring the water is freely available, this being the only Vichy water which is bottled for sale .
