Creag Righ Thairalt

In the middle of nowhere on a lovely sunny if windy day, heading towards the peak on the right. Often wondered about it's name and have now found it is reputed to be the burial place of King Harald (Gaelic - Righ Thairalt) the Viking killed by Nechtan, Pictish ruler who lived at the nearby dun (fort) in the 10th century, giving rise to the name of today's hamlet, Dunachtonmore .Great walk on a drove road not marked on the map.
