Words

A day full of words,
It's National Poetry Day;
Time to remember.


The theme for National Poetry Day this year is 'Remember' and my written effort for it can be found on the blog today.

There are several more, along with mine, published on the Paper Swans site.

The words in the photo weren't written by me, but, by a schoolfriend, who published his own book of poems. It was he, and a lovely lady blogger, that re-ignited my love of various poetry forms. Two years ago I don't think I knew what a haiku was and very recently I've discovered yet another short form of poetry which I'm yet to try (Lanturne).
