A loop of the Forth

Finished my last night shift this morning and as it had been a quiet night, I decided to take a wee detour home - The 2 bridges loop!

Left the Fire Station and headed out towards the Kincardine Bridge. It was a nice cold Autumnal morning and I was glad I had my gloves for the cycle as my fingers were getting a bit chilly - however as the morning went on and the sun rose in the sky, the temperature likewise did.

This is me half way round and a quick shot of the old Kincardine bridge - A new one has now been built to accommodate the amount of traffic that is now using this route. Not on the same scale as the new Forth Bridge but another crossing none the less.

Onwards with the cycle and it was past the Kelpies and onwards to Queensferry.

2 hours and 15mins - 36miles and I was home. A wee bit tired but glad of the cycle!!

Now for breakfast!!
