Girvan Harbour blues....

And greens and reds and.....

The day began with rain just as yesterday had finished. By the time I had eaten my breakfast, the sun had put in an appearance so mom and I ran downstairs and caught the 10:50 bus to Girvan Harbour. The 60 bus takes a much nicer route to Girvan than the 58. It goes right past Turnberry where dad died on the second hole on the 8th of March 2012. I did warn mom beforehand which way the bus went but not surprisingly, we were both a little misty eyed at the sight of a group of golfers on the edge of the course and then the wonderful Turnberry lighthouse with the sea glittering behind.

No wonder dad loved being a member there! Ailsa Craig was glittering like a jewel today and it must have been wonderful to see that view several times per week while playing golf.

Anyway, there was an amazing coincidence in Blipworld today! Just as Charlie's Lucy is taking up photography, so is mom! Mom doesn't care to read the book first though and went straight into grabbing the camera to take a picture of me with Ailsa Craig in the background.

I usually hate pictures of me but love this one! I hope you like my new jacket I bought in Glasgow on Monday and also my boots which mom bought for me last time I was in Ayr. They are much smarter than my walking boots and are easier to pull off too! This is very handy when you need to lie down in a hurry. I look so much better without a head!

I took lots of pictures after mom had given up trying to be a top photographer and particularly liked the colours in this picture. I love Ailsa Craig but it does look like a big pudding rather than a birdy paradise jewel at times.

Go large!

We then caught the bus back to Ayr for scampi and chips in Pandora's before going home at the end of a lovely trip out.

Track? Sorry! I fancy Slade again - Cuz I Luv You
