the setup

+1/3 busy setting up facetime with the Largonian grandparents after dinner.

An exciting day for +1/3 today as it was not only his first at a new school but also his first day of secondary. Very grown up he was too: up early, into a shirt and tie (apparently he remembered how to tie his own tie after I'd shown him - amazing given that it was quite a while ago and he doesn't normally wear a tie), he knew the route to school (we walked together) and went in to meet his teacher without even a backwards glance!

Apparently the school day was great and he has a science test tomorrow.

Home early from work with the cold - the usual scratchy eyes, runny nose and sore throat. Bah. Perhaps an early night will cure it...
