An English Country Garden

Another lovely day with the family as Ma Booknerd's 80th birthday celebrations continued. And, unlike yesterday, the sun shone!

Nappy was very keen to explore the garden and spent quite a lot of her day clambering on and off this chair in a most contented fashion.

The adults enjoyed a delicious meal at one of the local village pubs although Nappy was more interested in climbing up and down the fire escape (with Goatee in tow!)

Not only was it good to spend another day with Ma Booknerd but it was also a rare treat to spend a bit of time with my (and Goatee's) photographer aunt, Virginia (aka Shutterbug Booknerd), who's over from Vancouver for the week.
