Autumn Evening

Cold and wet today. Much tea drunk, large slabs of carrot cake eaten by me and my friends who came for the afternoon. The poor builders got soaked through - as did Ted after a fun half hour of puddle-splashing!

We did actually go out as I was running the Rhyme Time singing group in our local library, then I went in to Breastfeeding Group where I work as a volunteer peer supporter. But it definitely felt like Autumn.

No photos taken today so here's our wood burning stove, lit for the 3rd time so far this season. Much needed. Glass of red wine just out of shot..!
