Sunrise and Showers
There I was sitting in the car at 7:00 am. The clear skies when I left home had been replaced by grey foreboding clouds and the thunder of rain on the car's roof. I um'd and ah'd about leaving the park and heading to work but desided to hold on for a while.
I took a few photographs in the persistent and heavy rain, wiping the lens between shots despite using a hood. 'C'mon, let's go', the chimp inisde me was saying. I held on and miraculously colour started to appear to the east.
The rain didn't let up and a number of images were ruined by drops of water on the lens or filter, but the odd shot was a keeper. It has certainly made me think about persevering when bad weather is around, when the cloud is broken and sunlight might just come through.
