Power cut!

This was the scene at the top of our drive this afternoon and evening. A major electricity supply cut-off had affected our neighbours and had necessitated the digging out of the mains cable and a repair. So we and most of the street have been without electricity for several hours and were forced to go out to our favourite Italian restaurant - Sinatra's' - for dinner. It's a hard life, ain't it?
Power back by 8pm, and a large hole to be filled in tomorrow.
