Spaghetti!
Yes, we did have spaghetti two nights in a row, but this time it came with meatballs and Ivy does love to eat it so much.
Today was meant to be an empty day, but we actually filled it pretty well. Went to the postoffice in the morning, and Ivy and I went to get croissants and coffee for breakfast from the deli like sopisticated city types. I put her in the pram for a change, instead of the carrier since I expected the parcel collected from the post office to be heavy.
Bumped into Katy, who invited us for lunch at the chielidh place. Ivy ate lots of my fish, then had a handful of chips before eating enthusiastically the cucumber, tomato, lemon slice and raw red onion from my salad. wish i'd managed to get a picture of her eating onion, but she stopped when I got my phone out.
Collected Ivy's new toys from tesco today. Her great pufin gran gave her some money for her birthday so we got her a wooden multi story car park type race track for cars, and a peg shape bench and a hammer with some random club card vouchers I turned out to have. She's not quite worked out how to hammer the shapes through the bench, but she did like hittings things with the hammer. She worked out how to put the cars down the track pretty quickly though- and creativly combined her two new toys by 'fixing' the wheel on one of the cars by hitting it with her hammer. Again I wish i'd got a photo, my daughter- the car mechanic. I was so proud.
