Cerro San Cristobal

The day was spent being more anxious than ever. Woke up at around 3am (Santiago, Chile time) and checked the delayed baggage status. I was so happy to read the status update saying : "Received at airport. Oct 6."

My baggage was waiting for me when i got back at the hostel in the afternoon. I was sooo happy to see my bag at the front door. Now i have more clothes! Getting dressed in the next few days will be more time consuming and complicated than before now.

Before the light of the day disapperead, I visited Cerro San Cristobal and rode the funicular (like a train that goes up and down the hill). The view of Santiago from the top of the hill was breathtaking. I also got to take a photo with the very huge sculpture of Immaculada Concepcion which was situated at the topmost part of the hill.
