Early Start

Loving my early starts at the moment - & pooch seems quite contented too. After a busy week it cam as something of a shock to realise I'd not actually made any plans for the weekend - to be fair, as I often don't remember what day of the week it is, the weekend doesn't hold any special meaning for me - but of course they are the days my 9-5 friends have off.

As I blipped yesterday - early has definitely been best recently - so today pooch & I headed up onto the fell hoping that we might be able to get above the mist & have an inversion. No such luck sadly - but the moorland looked fantastic with the dew from the mist hanging heavy on the grasses and making the limestone pavements shine. To get the best glittering meant shooting into the sunlight - not a skill I've mastered - this was the best of the bunch.
