The 14.45 Race at Hexham – The Intu Eldon Square Heart of the City Mares’ Novices’ Handicap – for novice four year olds and upwards.

We were lucky enough to represent the owners of Nautical Twilight. Ridden by that up and coming Yorkshire Jockey Brian Hughes and trained in Malton by Malcolm Jefferson, the owners were elsewhere so we were proud to represent them.

This is the first time Nautical Twilight has run in blinkers and she is seen here in the final strides - on the left nearest the railings. The winner passed the post a long way ahead, but this shows the battle for second and she won it !

This was her seventh race and she equalled her best performance here today. Watch this space as I feel sure that in her next race will be a winner ! So proud of her.
