Life with Alice

Windswept

When I was little, we used to bring toys outside nearly every time we went out. That's how I remember it. Going outside meant playtime. Nowadays, we go for walks which is nice, but I sort of miss playing. When the autumn winds rustle the leaves, I take the opportunity to chase after them. After all, I am still just a puppy.

Today, mum came home from shopping with a square of raw hide for me. It was elk, and one of the nicest things to chew I have ever had. The hunting season for elk began a couple of days ago, so we're staying out of the forest for a while.
