Family Saturday Night
Last time I told you that my family was crazy, right? Well this time might prove it. So now I’m going to do something that might shed some light on the crazy people of Wal-Mart website. I’m going to summarize the events of Saturday night. It started off like any normal Saturday night would. My family went down to my grandma’s house to eat dinner before my sister, brother, cousin, me and Meredith (no relation, just a friend) went to a corn maze with a group of friends. It had just rained the day before, so the maze was sort of muddy. Well, it was really muddy. We, of course, were not fazed by this and proceeded to run around, getting covered in mud in the process. We finally got out of the maze like an hour and a half later (we only ran through the corn a little, don’t listen to Mike). Then we went on a hayride, which we thought was driving us to our death. We tend to be slightly overdramatic sometimes. It was a great time, though. So we went home, and by this time it was about 10:30. Well we walked in on a peculiar sight. My Aunt Kim was wrapped up in a white plastic bag and her head was covered in pasty white goo. We were quite alarmed as to what was happening. Everyone was just sitting at the table talking, as if my aunt didn’t look like she lost a battle with whipped cream. When we saw the bottles spread across the table, we realized that my mom was putting highlights her hair. But she was putting blonde highlights in red hair, and when we started to look at the color, it was rather orange. So after some debate, we convinced my aunt that we had to take her to the store to get another box of hair dye. But she couldn’t take the cap off, or we wouldn’t be able to pick out the highlights again. So that’s how we ended up walking around Wal-Mart after 11 o’clock, covered in mud, my aunt’s head covered in a white cap. We got her hair fixed, and it looks great now. But we also got some pretty weird stares from shoppers…..
