An Avid Lensman

Paved with Gold...

Salisbury's streets really are!

Standing around in a big Craghopper overcoat, at 9 minutes past midnight, Friday night, in the teeming rain...

Colour unchanged though have to say that my (very) old full-frame D700 handles orange streetlighting better than my much newer D7000, with a more suitable white balance setting.

Lens is Sigma EX 20mm f1.8 Hand-held.

Rain subsided after that, and stopped within half an hour. People came out from the pubs, got a bit rowdy, I still snapped this and that but somehow this seems the most complete. More picturesque than an urban gritty street scene but you can't have everything, now, can you?
