The other half.

Last week I blipped a red deer hind at Leighton Moss. Today I was lucky enough to complete the pair. Pair is probably the wrong word as he no doubt has several hinds. However he is a fine fellow with quite a number of points on his antlers.

Getting the picture was quite tricky. Being Saturday afternoon Grizedale hide was crowded and it took some effort to get to an open window. Even then I had to hold the camera outside the window and point it at right angles. Thank goodness the viewing screen twists to right angles from the line of sight.
