Today we had a visitor from New York give a talk and production masterclass to our University students.

He released he first single Def Jam Recordings, the record label founded by one of my favourite producers - the legendary Rick Rubin.

This dude had loads of stories from the era of the birth of Hip-Hop (even though at the time, they simply called it 'jamming')

Interesting guy and a fascinating talk.
