Colorado: Long's Peak

Autumn is such a season of contrasts. I am intrigued by the brilliant colors of the trees and vegetation. Yet, I am equally inspired by the soft colors at sunrise and sunset. My walks the last few evenings have been wonderful. The weather has been wonderful with sunny, warm days and cool nights. I have also enjoyed the passing of the huge flocks of Canadian geese as they fly south, the changing migratory birds that frequent the riparian areas, and the busyness of the squirrels and prairie dogs as they get ready for winter. Yes, this is the kind of Autumn that I really enjoy.
