Punkin Stand

We stopped at several places last weekend...looking for the perfect pumpkin. We (a.) never found it, OR (b.) were too cheap to buy it.

I finally bought some today. Two large $4 ones for Merrick and I, and one medium 2 dollar one.

Add a squash for a buck, and the farmer is 11 dollars richer.

What squash to pick? Hubbard, butternut, acorn, or spaghetti? I went with the butternut.

Now...I'm off to Google to find out how to cook it.
