Union of South Africa

Thanks for all the comments on my Blip yesterday and apologies for my rant! I thought technology was supposed to make life easier.

This is an LNER 'A4' Class No 60009 'Union of South Africa' speeding through Sandy station this morning with the 'Jubilee Requiem' from London Kings Cross to York. The bright early morning sun was just catching part of it which made the shadows very dark, so I've had to do a bit of HDR on it to bring out the colours. Not a great shot but a great engine.

I've just heard about the sad passing of Jack Bruce. I was lucky enough to see him in concert a couple of years ago and he was still putting on an excellent show. I suppose this could be a small tribute.
