Squash Up

My sister and brother in law visited today as they have been spending the week in London from their home in Aberdeen. It was great to see them and catch up.

Earlier in the day I went to see the nurse for a dressing change and wound check and the great news is that she feels the time has come to leave the dressing off and let nature provide the dressing in the form of a scab. The great news about that is that it means that, as long as it will indeed dry over, I will be able to go swimming. I'm no great swimmer and don't do it much but it has been a bit of a milestone to pass because Becky was wanting me to go swimming with her way back in February but didn't happen because of my surgery and subsequent recovery etc. This time next week, we'll be at Centre Parcs, so it looks as though I have reached my target in time for that.
