Unbelievable light!

After a few hours in the mudroom, throwing bowls etc, and trimming mugs and cups, i headed down to Baddeck for a swim at the Inverary! Had the place to myself. Funnily enough, at this time of year, i'd have been grateful for some company....it gets a bit dark and spooky in there so i can see i'm gonna have to adjust my time of swimming. i think i've watched too many series on Netflix that involve water and women being drowned! once i start along the spooky road, it's hard to get out of it. anyway, had a good swim and when i was leaving the sun was doing that amazing low light brilliance! speeded around the place trying to catch it before it all changed.

I love that my little village closed up shop early so all the employees could take their kids trick or treating....but i was a bit miffed that i couldn't do my shopping!!!

off to a bonefine at some friends this evening...it is after all, the Celtic New Year!! hoping it won't involve naked dancing around bonfires....i'll let you know tomorrow :)
