Changing colour

I got back today and immediately noticed the changed colour on the trees. It seems that autumn has finally arrived even though the sun is still shining. It is due to get colder over the next few days. I expected to find a filled in hole in the road but no such luck. The promised work to sort out the infiltration of drains water into the house has not started so I shall have to make several stroppy phone calls on Monday!
