High pollen alert

I’ve received a daily ‘High Pollen Alert’ on my phone for our area for the past few days. This pollen-coated bee, burying his face deeply into one of our emerging bottle brush flowers, is clearly doing his bit to clean it all up.

L and I decided to become fully-paid-up members of Blipfoto today (didn't take long to be convinced) and I'm already enjoying being able to open pictures up larger to take a closer look. I have some back-blipping to do from last week and still have to get caught up on looking at what you were all blipping at that time, so I think that might take care of the next couple of days for me.
