The Bridge Grows!!

It was a beautiful afternoon down here in the ferry, so I decided to head out and see what I could capture down by the river. As it was mid afternoon by now the sun was slowly setting and their was a lovely warm light on all the bridges - I decided to check out how the new "Queensferry Crossing" was growing.

After heading underneath the bridge and along towards Hopetoun house, I headed back towards the ferry and found a rather convenient place to park which gave me access to the beach and a walk towards where the bridge was being built.

After setting up the camera, it was great just to enjoy the peace and quiet. The wind had dropped and the stillness of the afternoon was amazing. You could hear voices of the guys working on the bridge, but apart from that not a lot else!

So the bridge keeps on growing - more shots of its development will no doubt be posted in due course!!
