Pop-up Shop 3

Another pop-up shop day... Mrs madwil and I transported car loads of fabric and assorted sewing and quilting supplies to the community centre in Boston Spa.

It takes us about 90 minutes to set up the shop and this was taken just before opening time.

It was a good day - plenty of customers and the till kept ringing! It was very warm and we had the doors open most of the day to get a breeze through.

Just after lunchtime we had unexpected visitors - our daughter and her husband with baby Jessica. Well you can imagine the excitement that that caused - a room full of ladies, mostly mums and grandmas (a lot of whom had already seen photos) and a new baby!

She charmed everybody and was a big hit.

After we closed up the shop we all went to Wetherby and had a very nice meal in a small Indian restaurant.
