Flapjack Attack

Did I mention that Alfie won't eat anything from Aldi? He's getting quite obsessed by it. Whenever we sit down for a meal he wants to know where everything came from and he can normally tell if you're lying and won't eat it.. He had to make flapjack at school today and because the only caster sugar in the house was from Aldi, he won't eat it. Here's Poppy tormenting him with it.

Poppy's school was shut for teacher training so we went to the cinema to see 'The Book of Life'. It's described as 'A beautifully animated spooky comedy [which] draws on influences ranging from spaghetti westerns to Mexico's colourful day of the dead'. I have to say that any film about a pacifist bull fighter who plays Radiohead on the Spanish guitar is alright by me.
