Back On The Green

After a day that left me frazzled it was back to the green, green mats of home.

It the first time I've rolled a bowl since the 21-1 defeat on the bowls tour. It didn't start well ... The first two bowls off the side ... The next two bowls in the ditch! Thankfully I began to find my rhythm. I didn't have my best game, but thankfully I bowled some good woods just when we needed them.

It was a tight tussle until the 17th end. We were losing 15-13 having dropped a four. The last four ends all went our way. We won 25-15.

The day, at least, ended on a high.
