Sex and drugs and rock n roll !

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday we were working with cattle in glorious autumn sunshine. Today it has been blowing the rain sideways all day.
Brought another lot of spring born calves in to spein today (wean) .Clipped the freeze brand numbers on the cows hips,drenched them for liver fluke and shut them in the field behind wee brothers house. They should get fed up roaring by next week,but he might not get much sleep tonight !
Manufactured the batch of calves after lunch.Backs clipped,pneumonia vaccine and pour on wormer then shut in the shed.
The amount of drugs and vaccines we use in a year is frightening (according to the CA last week ! )so plenty drugs,no sex or rock, and the only roll had cheese on it at lunch time !
