A cosy night in with Jo and David joining us for lamb hot pot, large glasses of red wine and lemon drizzle cake with blackberries. There were fireworks at the window and a very excited E who wasn't at all keen on sleeping until we suggested that she might climb into our bed. Our own little Goldilocks. Thankfully, she transferred to her own bed without a hitch.
