Bisbal de Emporda -

This lovely pot was a gift from my daughter and son in law from their holiday in Catalonia in August. We have only just got it as we hadn't seen them till last week since the summer. It came from La Bisbal de Emporda, a town renowned for it's ceramics.

It is today's blip as the weather is abysmal!

Walked down the road this morning to a coffee morning held by airedaleknitter in aid of the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Trust. It was a lovely event attended by many blippers and all had great homemade cakes with their coffee. Thank you very much J, hope you made lots of money for your charity.

When it came to leaving it was chucking it down so I had to run home as I had stupidly not taken my coat.

Tonight we are doing a sing along at the Congregational Church to commemorate the 100 years anniversary of the start of WW1, probably see most of the same people all over again! That's the good thing about village life.
