Cows in a field

This was the only picture I took today. Despite the fact it was pouring with rain, we put on our wet weather gear and went for our Saturday walk. Rosy, next door's Labrador pup, had the most fun. According to her owner, Labradors are build for swimming -and there were plenty of really deep puddles for Rosy to paddle in if not swim.

This herd of cows were further into the field as we approached one of them who came to have a look at Rosy, who wanted to get a bit closer and there was a lot of bravado going on between her and the cow until the whole herd came to see what was going on and Rosy backed well away. As I said last week, she wasn't making any noise, no growling or barking, just wanting a good sniff and a good look, but I think she got more than she bargained for today. And even although they were on the other side of the fence, I too backed away from them.
