Books to go by

At the risk of over-sharing, I have a routine colonoscopy scheduled for tomorrow. In case you think I'm some kind of glutton for punishment, I made this appointment before my back problems became severe.

Anyone who knows anything about the preparation for a colonoscopy will have guessed that I've not been out and about at all today, so not even a blip of the garden.

It doesn't seem to matter where you are, you always have to show up at the hospital really early in the morning for these types of procedures and then wait around, so in anticipation of having to do that tomorrow, I've spent my time today, gathering together some reading material.
