Lace surgery

I put down my knitting to take the kettle off the stove. When I came back I was horrified to see that I had dropped two stitches. I really did not want to knit back atleast four rows (409 stitches per row) to fix it so I attempted lace surgery instead... And if worked! I pinned the drop stitches to see what I was working with and used two double pointed needles to knit back up. It's not exactly perfect - a few stitches remain twisted - but I can live with it. I know that I'll be the only one who will be able to see the mistake. Soooo happy - I saved myself about a week's worth of effort.

Today has been a wonderfully lazy and rainy day. No running, just 20 minutes of yoga to stretch.
