This lovely, talented young lady gave our artists association a talk about her beginnings making art. She spoke fondly of her grandmother's influence. She is now the keeper of her grandmother's paintings and happily so. Carly talked about following the famour television painter, Bob Ross. She would work with her crayons while he painted and gave instructions for the home viewer. Carly brought several examples of her early efforts in art. She heartily maintains that anyone can learn to be an artist, that it's in all of us. She calls the city of Yuma her home and teaches art classes at the Yuma Art Center downtown.
