Show day

Today was such a beautiful day and as a family we got to have an awesome day.

Being a public holiday ( we do love 3 day weekends) Andre and the boys were home.

We decided to go to Spencer park which is amazing. It's been a long time since I was there but it had a huge playground, holiday park, adrenalin forest, farmyard area and lots of walking tracks.

We first went to see the farmyard, there were roosters and chickens walking around, there were pigs in enclosures too.
Harper loved just looking at the chooks.

After the farm area we took a walk along the pine forest loop track. Harper walked some of the way while Kanye was in his chair. When we got to a clearing we put harper in the back carrier and let Kanye have a run. There wasn't a chance for him to run away and the ground was soft if he fell.

It was beautiful through the forest. I love the smell of pine. The boys found lots of interesting things to play with like pine cones and sticks.

It was a great opportunity to let all 3 explore their surroundings knowing they were safe. Just what little boys need.

We headed back and let the kids have a play in the playground.

We didn't take a picnic so after being there a few hours we were all hungry.

We got sushi on the way home and some baking ingredients to bake for my sister in laws wedding in a couple of weeks.

I spent the late afternoon baking while my tired boys lay down and played with toys.

Great day out am looking forward to going back to Spencer park in a couple of weeks.
