Peninsula Bridge

This is the bridge that Lizellens Lot took her photo from. Over 100 years old it is a limited weight bridge, one lane only and the walkers have to hop up on the edges when a car goes past. It stands about 30 metres above the Motueka River. I liked the silver structure that has had a coat of paint and the old timbers with plenty of lichen.

My landscapes and river scenes were a bit bland. I went round to the local rugby sevens tournament at the sports park behind us but missed the action. Some feathers left by a bird that hit the window were also blipped but I decided on this one.
