Snowflakes

Today a friend and I headed into the Edinburgh Contemporary Crafts open day to have a go at doing some fused glass Christmas decorations. They were snowflake inspired creations using the symmetry of this grid. We have to wait 2 weeks for them to be fired and then for the kiln to cool down. It'll be interesting to see how they turn out. While there we browsed their gallery and workshops. A great wee place full of beautiful things made by lots of creative people, maybe one day I'll find a studio complex near enough home to have such inspirational company while I work. Their gallery is well worth a visit if you are passing.
