Kandied fruit
This quick market snap was taken in the hill town of Kandy, one of Sri Lanka's most important pilgrimage sites.
All of the markets in Sri Lanka are dripping with fruit like this. The way they display it is very inviting - British supermarkets should take note.
Loving the Sri Lankan vibe and ease and cost of travel. A comfortable first class train journey from the capital to the hills cost about 4 dollars, and was by far the most expensive journey we made the whole time we were in Sri Lanka.
